Using our Websites and Services requires that you agree to these Terms of Service.
2. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms of Service:
- “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to Campfire Security ApS.
- “Websites” means campfiresecurity.dk, campfiresecurity.com, campsec.dk, and all subdomains of these pages.
- “Services” includes virtual labs and challenges that are accessible through the Websites.
- “Content” includes Websites, Services, learning paths, courses, and other materials and services accessible through the Websites.
- “Infrastructure” includes the servers on which our Websites and Services are running and the communication networks used to access them.
3. About Our Terms
- When you register an account with us, you agree to the Terms of Service specified in this document. You also agree to be responsible for complying with any applicable local laws.
- These Terms explain how you may use the Content. By using the Content, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with the Terms, you should stop using the Content immediately.
- These Terms also include our Acceptable Use Policy. By using our Content, you agree to this policy as well as our Privacy Policy.
4. Using Our Content
- Our Content is for personal use only. This means that your user account should only be used by you. You are not allowed to provide others with access through your account.
- You are not allowed to attack the Websites, other parts of the Content, or Infrastructure by introducing attacks or materials that are malicious or technologically harmful to any part of the Content or Infrastructure.
- You are not allowed to gain unauthorised access to Content, Infrastructure, or other elements that are clearly not part of solving the challenges.
- You are not allowed to use our Content or Infrastructure to engage in unlawful, inappropriate, or abusive actions.
- We may prevent or suspend your access to the Websites if you fail to comply with these Terms of Service.
5. Registration and Password Security
To access the Content, you must register an account.
You are responsible for keeping your account details secure and confidential. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we have reason to believe that the account has been breached or is being misused.
6. Ownership and Intellectual Property Rights
- The intellectual property rights relating to the Content—including text, images, video, audio, other multimedia content, and software—are owned by Campfire Security ApS.
- Some Content may belong to other entities and be used by Campfire Security ApS under appropriate licensing agreements.
- The intellectual property rights relating to the software used to provide the Services are owned by Campfire Security ApS.
- Subject to the Customer purchasing the Services, or receiving a free trial, and complying with these Terms, Campfire Security ApS grants the Customer a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to allow authorised users to use the Services during the applicable term.
- The Customer acknowledges and agrees that Campfire Security ApS, or its licensors, owns all intellectual property rights relating to the Websites, Services, and Content.
- Except as expressly stated in these Terms, these Terms do not grant the Customer any rights or licences relating to patents, copyright, database rights, trade secrets, trade names, trademarks, or any other rights concerning the Websites, Services, and Content.
7. Disclaimers
- The Content is provided on an “as is” basis. We make no warranties, whether express or implied.
- We do not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy or reliability of the use of the Content.
- We may make changes to the Content at any time without notice.
- While we are not obliged to update the Content, we always appreciate feedback, comments, and suggestions concerning the Content we provide.
8. Hyperlinks and Third-Party Sites
Our Websites may contain links to third-party websites and resources.
We do not control, endorse, sponsor, recommend, or otherwise accept responsibility for any linked content.
We are not responsible for third-party websites and encourage you to read their terms and conditions and privacy practices before using them.
9. Limitation of Our Liability
Our liability for loss or damage suffered by you as a Customer cannot exceed the total fees paid by you to us.
This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited.
10. Uptime of Service
We use cookies to keep you signed in to our Services.
- We do not guarantee that our Content will always be available.
- All or part of the Content may occasionally be unavailable due to operational, security, maintenance, or other reasons.
- We aim to keep our Content available at all times and will try to provide users with reasonable notice of interruptions.
- If access at a specific time is critical, you are welcome to contact us in advance at kontakt@campfiresecurity.dk so that we can be particularly aware of your requirements.
11. Changes to Our Terms of Service
We keep our Terms of Service under regular review and publish any updates on this webpage.
We may change these Terms of Service at any time. You can always find the most recent version on our Websites, including the applicable version date.
If we make changes to the Terms of Service, we will inform you about the changes.
If you do not agree to the updated Terms, please contact us within 30 days so that we can try to find a solution to your concerns.
12. Payments
- All payments to Campfire Security ApS are handled by a third-party provider. Please visit the provider's website to read its Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- All payments are final and non-refundable, except in the circumstances described in Section 13.
- If your account is closed or suspended due to violations of the conditions stated in this document, you will not receive a refund.
- Campfire Security ApS may change the price of subscriptions by providing at least one month's notice.
- The change will not take effect until the first payment due after the change enters into force.
13. Specifically for Private Customers
As a private Customer, you are never committed for longer than the period for which you have already paid. You may unsubscribe before the renewal of your subscription.
As a private Customer, you may also cancel the agreement after five months of subscription by providing one month's notice before the end of the month.
To cancel, send an email to kontakt@campfiresecurity.dk, and we will process the cancellation.
We will provide a proportional refund, except for purchases below DKK 2,000, which are non-refundable unless the circumstances described in Section 13.2 apply.
As a private Customer, you have the right to cancel your subscription within two weeks of subscribing.
However, you agree that your right to cancel ends as soon as you begin actively using the subscription, including accessing training materials or virtual labs.
To cancel the agreement under these conditions, contact us at kontakt@campfiresecurity.dk.
14. Termination
- You may terminate this agreement at any time by closing your account. Contact us at kontakt@campfiresecurity.dk if you wish to close your account.
- Campfire Security ApS may terminate your account at any time if you violate the conditions stated in this document.
- If your account is terminated and you disagree with the decision, contact us at kontakt@campfiresecurity.dk. We will be happy to review your case, but we are not obliged to change our decision.
- Campfire Security ApS may terminate this agreement at any time by providing at least one month's notice.
- Already-paid subscription fees will be refunded proportionally. For example, if termination takes effect three months into an annually paid subscription, you will receive a refund of 75% of the amount paid.
- However, we will always strive to ensure that you can use the subscription for the full period for which you have paid.
- Campfire Security ApS may discontinue certain products and subscriptions by providing at least one month's notice.
- Already-paid subscription fees for discontinued products will be refunded proportionally. For example, if discontinuation takes effect three months into an annually paid subscription, you will receive a refund of 75% of the amount paid.
- However, we will always strive to ensure that you can use the subscription for the full period for which you have paid.
15. Fair Use Policy
We want everyone to have a good experience with our Content and everything we offer. You must therefore behave respectfully and responsibly.
This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Do not break any local, national, or international laws.
- Do not use our Services to harm or attack others. This includes bullying, insulting, or humiliating individuals or organisations.
- Do not attack our Websites, Infrastructure, or the software used to provide our Services.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our Content, Infrastructure, or software that you are not authorised to access.
If you violate our Fair Use Policy, we will assess the situation and take appropriate action.
Such action may include, but is not limited to:
- Temporarily or permanently withdrawing your right to use our Services.
- Issuing a warning.
- Initiating legal proceedings to recover costs and losses resulting from the violation.
- Taking further legal action against you.
- Disclosing information concerning the violation to law-enforcement authorities.
16. Jurisdiction and Disputes
In the event of a disagreement, the matter shall be referred to the ordinary courts of Denmark and governed by Danish law.
